Really cool photo software - free
My friend Robin sent me a link to Picasa today. It's a free download from Google. Some of you may have your photos under control, but I don't at all. I downloaded Picasa and it gathered up images from every nook and cranny on my computer, ordering them all chronologicaly. It turned out I had duplicates and triplicates and photos I'd lost track of in places I wouldn't have known to go looking. So far I've weeded through and eliminated extras, but haven't used the editing features. I have to say the layout looks much friendlier than any of the other programs I've used, and I feel empowered to actually get some good slideshows together.
