Personality types
For those who've been wondering about my reference to being an ENTJ:
This is from the Myers-Briggs Typology Test, which I came across in the 80's, but it's been around since 1956. Sometimes it's referred to as Jungian typology and it sorts out personality types according to four paired sets of characteristics - extravert/intravert, intuitive/sensing, feeling/thinking, and perceiving/judging. This produces sixteen personality types. It's a very respected test used by employers as well as people who just want to become better communicators through better understanding of themselves and others.
You can find a free test here. And you can google Myers-Briggs or check out books at amazon to learn more.
Our whole family down to the 12 year olds - including grandchildren - took the test one Sunday and it was very interesting. Only one introvert in the lot. Which explains the noise level at Sunday dinner.

Ohhhhh!!! Thanks for defining, Barbara, and for all that you ENFJs give. Mopsy, very well-written sweet wedding memories and sweet babies, too. Blessings.

Wow. I feel for your one introvert! I am thankful that at least one of my children turned out to be an introvert to keep me company.

ISFJ here...thanks, Barbara, for the link. It helps to see a different take on my personality. I'll be showing this to my sweetheart and let him take the test. What happens when two introverts marry? LOL - the less introverted one seems like an extrovert. And I am the lesser of the two, but things are definitely quiet around here most of the time as we read, study, and even play. Now, however, we have a 4 month old little girl (whose name is Nicola [pronounced nickle-ah]) who from the looks of it will be an extrovert. She's definitely brought some sunshine to our lives already with the promise of more to come, Lord willing.
