Free Holiday Concerts
Besides being brave, many of our armed forces are quite talented - especially musically.
Here in Washington DC (well, actually an hour away from our family), we are blessed to have many opportunities to enjoy free music for example The Air Force Band's free Holiday Concerts.
But I guess you don't have to live near our nation's capitol - while googling to find this calendar, I noticed that there are others in different cities and with other branches of the military.
Why not google your nearest cit and "free holiday concert" and see what you come up with?
Google hint: When you put words in quotations, you'll find results with that combination of words in the order you designated, rather than any combination. For example, if you google Barbara Curtis, you will get 4,730,000 results - everything that has Barbara and Curtis on the same page. But if you google "Barbara Curtis" you will get only 27,000 (not all me - there are a lot of Barbara Curtis's, which makes me wish my name was something like Hermione Gringold ;-)

oh dear, well, 'Hermione Gringold' has its own set of problems -- chief of which might be pronunciation. ; )
