My Christmas present to you
Julana asked where I found the graphic on the last post.
Well, I guess I just have to give you all an early Christmas present, something I found just this morning and was planning to wrap up for my readers!
You can click on these to enlarge to 8-1/2 x 11 and print them out to your heart's content as they are all in the public domain - that is, too old for copyright.
Or, you can get Dore's Bible Illustrations, a book my kids have pored over for years.
At the same site is a link to illustrations by Horace J. Knowles, who is the artist responsible for the graphic you asked about, Julana. I've been trying to find out more about him, but without much success. He seems to have been a prolific illustrator, but I could not find anything about him personally.

Barbara - "Thank You" What a gift! While I'm at it Thank you for the gift you give in sharing what you have learned over the past 36 years of being a mom! My mom was around but generally "unavailable" as we grew up. I've only been a mommy for 2 1/2 years so I learn something new every day it seems. When I read your advice, and hear your thoughts on mothering I'm so blessed.

I've added the Dore illustrations to my wish list--thanks! Not only that, but the Paradise Lost illustrations are incredible. :-)
