Premarital sex - follow up

I received this email from Beth today:

I am TOTALLY unfamiliar with blogging. I would love to learn more about it though. I know you are a very busy woman and I am not sure how to respond to all the comments on my question about pre marital sex but GOD BLESS THESE WOMEN. Somehow it has been just the push i needed. Could you post this where they can read it?

Thanks everyone so much for these encouraging words. All this is EXACTLY what I needed to hear. I would just like to say, that Corey (my fiance) is a christian. We both came to Christ in our early teens but through our teenage lives, we fell waaaaay off track. Since the birth of our beautiful 14 month old son, our relationship has blossomed into real love, and renewed our love for our Heavenly Father. We all go to church every Sunday as a family, and it is the highlight of the week. I have decided to tell Corey exactly how I feel. I have told him before and he does understand but we are really young, and he really doesn't understand how guilty and ashamed I feel. Corey is starting to feel like I no longer enjoy his touches and he no longer "lives up" to what it used to be for us. It's hard for him to see that its not him, its THE SIN that weighs heavy on my heart and mind every day. So I have decided to break out and tell him exactly what I want to do...restore my virginity before God. I think he will see more clearly after I explain this. I am going to also have to make some changes. No undressing in front of each other...one person sleep on the bed, one on the futon in our bedroom. Our Wedding is scheduled for September 30th. We would have had it sooner but my cousin is getting married in June and my Pastor will be out with surgery from now until April. I can't thank you all enough. Each one of your comments truly touched my heart. I will let you know how it goes! Please keep me in prayer.
God's Richest Blessings on you all!!

Beth also asked for the email of one of the women who commented who she felt a connection with, so now there will be someone to support and encourage her as she continues the process. I did write to say I don't think it's a good idea to continue to live together until September 30, but sometimes realizations come in bits and pieces - I know they have for me.

PTL that he is a Christian! With ut going into the long story, my dh and I were living together and our wedding was planned for serveral months down the road when we where convicted of this same thing. We went to the court house had a small ceremony and then planned the big wedding, ceremony and all (just changed a couple of words here and there)! It was so great and our wedding was so much fun! Blessing on this girl, I am going to keep her in my prayers. Amie
