Sons and roses
Since I was still in the throes of writing on Valentines Day, I forgot to tell you that I was surprised when my oldest son Josh (22) who moved out 6 weeks ago to live in and work on a fixer-upper in Berryville (30 minutes away) showed up at noon with a wonderful arrangement of roses for his mom.
Awwww. I can still see him as a little toddler with white hair running until he fell over. And now he's a big guy who brings his mother roses on Valentine's Day!
Raise your kids with purpose and look forward to the results! This one took me by surprise.

That is one of the sweetest things I've ever heard! How precious of your son! And that speaks LOUDLY your love for him! Absolute GRACE! : )

Boy did you do something right!
... Thanks for letting us in on this. So often we are bombarded by messages that our children will only resent us when they grow up. etc. You message is a great encouragement!

Awww, that's sweet. My son is only eight, but I look forward to the day when he will bring me roses. He will, right?
