    The Little Red Hen
Hooray for a good work ethic! The little red hen asks but receives no help in her efforts to put bread on the table. Yet all who wouldn't help would like to eat. In a refreshingly old-fashioned triumph of moral consequences, they don't get to!

    Noisy Nora
Poor Nora! The loveable mousette experiences all the pangs of the child-in-the- middle, caught between the demands of baby brother and bossiness of big sister. Catchy meter, playful illustrations make for a wonderfully satisfying mouse's tale. Baby-Preschool

Laundry Room Mom #32

laura laundry room.jpg

Well, my worst fear was that I would somehow leave someone out or mix up pictures or something. Sure enough, I did leave out one I'd received Sunday night and somehow forgot to enter. Then I was out running around for 6 hours after posting the contest, so am just gettin gthis posted. This is Laura at Adventures in Juggling, who writes:

Dear Barbara,

so you are a mom of 12 and yet you manage to write books! WOW!
The next time I rant about the laundry fairy not doing her fair share here in my circus complete with five kids, I will remind myself it is because she is still at your place doing your laundry!
LOL

Here is my picture. I promise you that no dirty socks were hurt to get this shot.

my 19 y/o suggested the little sign because it has been reported that I mutter that phrase over and over again while doing the laundry. I think that cell phone permanently attached to her ear has done some serious brain damage because I KNOW I would never mutter that.....shout it maybe, but never mutter.
my blog is Adventures in Juggling

Laura's sign says, "It's true, it's true - I live for laundry!"

So here it is, better late than never. Sorry, Laura. I will also post this in the main contest entry. If anyone wants to change their votes, please let me know. For those who left their choices in comments, I have recorded your picks without publishing the comments, as though it were a private email. Anyone can vote - whether you have a blog or not, whether you are a regular here or first-time visitor. Just click on Email. I've gotten A LOT of votes!

Wash on!

Love,

am I bad for commenting on a post about me?
oh well!
you are much too sweet and too kind!
No worries about the oversight. It's a job hazard when one is a busy mom. I have "met" many new bloggin' mommies thanks to you...you are included.
To me that is the best prize.

Thanks!
