Please pray for Emily

As I said earlier, I don't have much time for visiting, but I did do a little this morning and was very sad to learn that a MommyLife reader has been struggling for a couple months and I am just now finding out.
Crystal, who blogs at Save the Kittens, has a beautiful daughter named Emily, who was diagnosed in February with malignant tumors on her thyroid gland. Emily has been through so much already - surgery, radiation treatments - and today is undergoing an operation expected to take five hours. The last one turned out to be much longer than expected - eight hours.
As I write this, Emily is already in surgery. But it is not too late to pray. This site averages 1000 visits a day, and I am hoping that each one will pray for Emily, her mother and father and entire family, as well as for the doctors and nurses caring for her. Please take a moment now to pray. And as you are going through your day, just pray while doing the dishes, driving the car, making pb&j.
I will be praying too. May you feel God's presence as certain as the ground under your feet, Crystal. May He bless you through this valley and carry you safely to the other side.

as our family is preparing for our youngest 9th surgery coming this Wednesday, I will most definitely be praying. I can imagine how Emily's mom must be feeling so I am praying for her too.
