Helpful books for parents
I've added these under Barbara's Picks. They're books I've used myself for almost 20 years in raising my kids.
Proverbs for Parents - An invaluable reference arranged by topic, so parents can look up something like obedience, pride, fear, honesty, trustworthiness, giving - and many more - for a complete list of the proverbs pertaining to it.
The Father's Topical Bible (should have told you about this before Father's Day!): Another great reference tool for parents, this book uses not just proverbs but verses from all over the Bible to instruct, comfort, and encourage fathers (and moms can learn from it too). A hundred topics listed under the headings Your Attitude, Your Child, Your Wife, Your Work, Your Daily Schedule, Your Finances, Your church, and Your Personal Needs.
I only recommend things that have served our family well. These are definitely big helps for busy parents.
