    The Little Red Hen
Hooray for a good work ethic! The little red hen asks but receives no help in her efforts to put bread on the table. Yet all who wouldn't help would like to eat. In a refreshingly old-fashioned triumph of moral consequences, they don't get to!
  • Noisy Nora
    Noisy Nora
Poor Nora! The loveable mousette experiences all the pangs of the child-in-the- middle, caught between the demands of baby brother and bossiness of big sister. Catchy meter, playful illustrations make for a wonderfully satisfying mouse's tale. Baby-Preschool

Longest subscriber winners

I've been trying to sort this out - who subscribed, commented, started reading on what dates. My thought was that even if readers weren't subscribed, if they commented early on and I knew they were part of the scene here, that would count. After all, I've never subscribed to a blog myself, though I have a list of favorites and a list of blogs that link to me.

**Btw, if you link to me, check my blogroll and if you're not there, let me know so I can add you.**

Anyway, after making a table with three columns and staring at it for a while trying to come up with some idea who were the winners, I think I need to declare six:

Mel of Actual Unretouched Photo - who commented the day I started my blog 1/16/05 and is one of the most supportive blogmoms around. She's left 125 comments here, and I know she leaves lots for everyone else too.
Sherry of Semicolon (who commented the next day)
Amber of Rutabaga Dreams
Lexie of Lexical Light
Kelli who's reading, not blogging (yet :)
Shelly - of Shelly's Journal

So if each of you lovely ladies will email me with your address and the book of mine you would like (if you're going to give it to a friend let me know so I can autograph it for the right person) - I will send them to you pronto.

Now on to working on the books!

Love,

yet . . . ha ha ha, very funny. :) Maybe if I start commenting more often I'll get more comfortable with this genre.

I win! I win! ;)

The book I actually want is the one that isn't out quite yet . . . Reaching the Left from the Right. (I already have almost all your books! Lucky me!)

Thanks for all you hard work tabulating. Just tonight at our writers' group I met someone who could benefit from your "Left from Right" book. How fun to be able to give her an autographed copy. I'll email you her name.

Thanks for the book! Big hugs from Texas. :)
