Subscriber contest - don't forget
Don't forget I am giving away five of my books (winners' choice) to the five readers with the longest subscription to MommyLife. Details here, where you can see that there are ways to find out when you subscribed via Bloglines or even when you bookmarked a site (I didn't know that!).
There are only five entries so far (four actual subscribers), so there's a lot of room to win a book here:

I was trying to figure out how to find this out and then I remembered that I've been reading your blog ever since you commented on my blog on 2/16/05 (http://vanderbrew.com/rutabagadreams/2005/02/16/judith-warner-and-mommy-madness/). I think I commented on your blog sometime around then too.

Oh, and I wanted to mention that I was subscribed at first via Shrook (a mac based RSS reader) then I switched to Bloglines sometime in January.

I don't subscribe but I have had you on my list of top ten blogs I ALWAYS check everyday since January 2006. I do my blog reading in the morning over my cup of coffee and then again in the evening after the little kids are tucked into bed and the big kids are kicked off the computer. Both times your blog is one of the must reads.

I thought I put my stats up this morning...My subscription began on May 25, 2005...you commented on my old blog on May 5, 2005, so I know I must have been reading for a few weeks prior to that.

Well, I can't give you an exact date where I bookmarked your site (obviously I'm a bit technologically nil!) but I think it was about a year ago.
Not sure how I found your site exactly - a blog link definitely and I just really liked your writing.
I'm a reader from New Zealand so perhaps I'm the "furtherest" away reader that has entered your competition! I think that I was the "New Zealand" entry on your blog reader list the other day!!!
Anyway, keep up the great site! Love it - although your posts about Jonny and his experience next door really tugged at my heart. Life is hard sometimes, isn't it.

Looks like I won't win a book but thought I'd let you know...
I "discovered" you through Moody Radio on August 30, 2005 and have been blessed by you many times since. Since my teen years I have admired some devoted mothers of large families (specifically, an aunt who has 6 children and a camp director's wife who has 7), and now you!
Thank you for sharing your passion for mothering and for imparting so much wisdom. You are a Titus 2:3-5 woman!
I have "The Mommy Manual" and I just love the paragraph near the end about being "mommy-like". It has come to mind numerous times- that's the kind of mommy I want to be. You show me how. Thank you again!

i don't know when I started reading you but if i were to guess it would be about sept or oct 2005. that would have given me enough time to know you were the perfect person to speak to the moms of our church. i'm not a computer gal so i do bookmarks and check you every day. i don't leave too many comments so your guess would probably be as good as mine.
as for the contest, I probably do not qualify for it since i only use a bookmark but that is the way i know how to find you so i'm keeping it that way.
I was glad to find shannon at rocks in my dryer through you! She's as fun as you are! thanks you bloggers and hopefully one day i will learn how so i can share too.
