Frustratingly stupid news

These were forwarded to me by readers:

An appeals court has ruled that a woman may sue because her child was born with Down syndrome and the doctor didn't inform her in time for an abortion that she would be responsible for financially supporting her child for many years: Gynocologist May Support Patient's Child.

A 25-year-old woman who fell and broke her ankle on her parents' driveway is suing them for $75,000: Daughter Who Surprised Mom with Birthday Visit Ses Parents.

As much as I love my country, the lack of personal responsibility among many citizens - encouraged by our judicial system - really turns my stomach.

That is so true. It makes me wonder what some people are going to say when we are standing before God and He asks why they behaved the way they did. The blame game won't work then.

I SO agree. It drives me nuts that so many people play the blame game and never take responsibility for their own chocise and action. We are so SPOILT as a society! I was ranting about this in my journal only yesterday. Actions have consequences. Deal with it. Aaagh!
