Live from Denver at ICRS - even more

Did my interview. Ran into the guy who does the voice for Larry of Veggie Tales. I asked him to leave a message on the answering machine at home for my kids and he did: "Hi Curtis Kids, this is Larry. I'm here with your mommy in Denver. . . . ." and a minute or so of conversation. How cool is that? I wish I could have been there when they heard it!

My next interview was not until 2:00 so I was free to walk the floor and have fun. Tripp and I joke about my penchant for taking pictures with everyone here. It started last year when I had someone take my picture with the Newsboys. Now I've decided to make it a hobby each year. I dunno, maybe I'm getting old and eccentric. But I think the kids get a kick out of it and are almost convinced that I'm famous.

Here with new Song:

Kirk Cameron - Full House veteran and father of six (who knew?)

For more random shots, continue

My grandkids were hoping I'd see Toby Mac, but this poster was the best I could do:

They sell everything here from guitars to skateboards to art to flip-flops - all somehow Christianized, of course.

And then there are lots of promotional gimmicks:

When the day was over, I asked Jen to take this picture of me with the big gift display:

Great pictures! I really enjoyed looking at them.
Just so you know, Kirk Cameron was not on Full House (his sister was). He was on Growing Pains. :)

I love the photos you shared. It is nice to put faces to some of the groups I have listened to on the radio. I also love the one with Kirk Cameron. I loved watching Growing Pains - you said Full House but his younger sister was in that, Kirk was in Growing Pains :-)

Anyway, Kirk's ministry with Ray Comfort has blessed me many times over. I love thier way of witnessing. No shame of Christ there, just good old fashioned sharing the Gospel!

Thanks again for sharing!

Kirk Camerson has six children?
Boy, does that make me feel old. :-)

Barbara, great pics! I just wanted to point a little something out - Kirk Cameron is from Growing Pains, his sister was on Full House. Hope you had a wonderful trip!

just a silly observation.....but you look so CUTE and YOUNG and FRESH in these pics at the convention! I think you should crop one of these for your blog pic.....you look (once again) like an entirely different woman in these ICRS photos! I especially like the one of you with Jars of Clay.
:-) You have kind of a "Marla Thomas" look going...with your great infectious grin!!!! :-) That may not seem like a compliment, but I used to LOVE Marla Thomas and her bright fresh smile and twinkle in her eyes! :-)

barbara, you are just so cute and because you have published your age, it is MOST encouraging. This gives me hope as i am working on fat loss that I will one day be attractive again, despite my age.

I liked the pic with John Ashcroft best, as if you were a child at Disneyland.

what on earth was the iridescent mermaid on stilts supposed to be promoting?!
