    The Little Red Hen
Hooray for a good work ethic! The little red hen asks but receives no help in her efforts to put bread on the table. Yet all who wouldn't help would like to eat. In a refreshingly old-fashioned triumph of moral consequences, they don't get to!
  • Noisy Nora
    Noisy Nora
Poor Nora! The loveable mousette experiences all the pangs of the child-in-the- middle, caught between the demands of baby brother and bossiness of big sister. Catchy meter, playful illustrations make for a wonderfully satisfying mouse's tale. Baby-Preschool

More on my book. . . .

Oh, I see Amazon won't have the books until late August. If you want one sooner, I have a limited number of copies I can send for $11, which will include postage. Just go to Paypal and send it care of my email address, or email me for my snail mail address to send a check.

Also, if there's a talk show you'd like to hear me on, ask them to get in touch with my publicist Shanon at P.S. Media Relations. I will be in Denver 7/9-12 to sign books and do on-site interviews at the International Christian Retailers Show - which used to be CBA, the Christian Booksellers Association - I guess until they noticed that half the stuff there isn't books :)

Congratulations on the birth of this book, Barbara! Have a blast at CBwhatever it is now, and may you have much opportunity to promote such an important topic : ) According to your publicity website, your publicist Shanon lives in my "other" hometown!

Hi Barbara,

I've been reading you for a while, though I am not a mummy (yet!) and I enjoy your witty insights and strong convictions about that which you believe. Thank you! You do an awesome job, here. I'm looking forward to applying some of the principles you talk about when I do journey into motherhood.

Anyway, I just looked up some of your books at the major Christian bookstore here in Australia (I'm from Perth), and I thought you'd be pleased to hear that a) you are sold over here; and b) Meet Me in the Laundry Room retails at $69.95 - for the paperback!!!! Wowsers! You are worth a lot of money over here in Oz!

I thought I'd let you know - you might get a kick out of that, lol!

Barbara,
Any of your readers who are anxious to get their hands on your latest book (which is awesome, by the way), and who don't want to wait until August can also purchase copies of your book immediately by calling the NPH order line: 1-800-877-0700. They will ship the same day if the order is placed before 11:30 AM.

I want your book so badly but I am not spending any extra money this month (or next). I do promise to get it at my library as soon as it's available. I bought a few of your other books and love them. It's nice to see someone who so richly deserves it succeed in a world that seems so pushy and greedy.

HOOAH to you, Barbara!!
