I'm home!
Home from a week at Easter Seals Family Camp with Jesse, Daniel and Justin - a day early because Ben and Zach were leaving tonight to go back to school and I wanted to hug them good-bye. Sweet boys - I love them more every day.
Doing laundry and answering emails and quickly running out of steam. Trying to get everything caught up this weekend because Monday I start the big push to finish Mommy, Teach Me to Read by September 1 - my extended deadline.
Tomorrow I will post all about the camp experience with cute pictures of my little guys. But for now I just had to share these photos taken after I demanded we do a phone round up. Although the house was immaculate when I came home - thanks to Sophia, Maddy, and Jonny - every one of our six cordless phone bases was empty. In response to my rather ungracious complaints, Jonny was first on the scene, looking for all the world like some kind of Bounty Hunter:
But covered with a profusion of compliments from his grateful mom, he struck a pose a little more Jonny:

LOL, what great pictures! Jonny is sure maturing quickly.
Glad to have you back, Mrs. Barbara. I've been so busy packing that it didn't seem long, but I did miss your posts this week.
September 1 is our deadline, too, we will be sitting on an airplane heading back to the States that day whether we're ready or not. You can make it, too! Can't wait to see the finished books for my dd and me. :-)

My sweet DH thought it would be a terrific idea for our home to be full of interchangeable cordless phones, too...and frequently (i.e., EVERY DAY) they are out of their bases and either all upstairs or all downstairs. Unfortunately, in our home I am the culprit! :-(
Jonny is a handsome young man!

The cordless phones do magical disappearing acts in our house as well (although I have to say, my husband is the culprit as often as the kids!)
I love both pictures--Jonny looks like a sweethart. The caption that comes to mind for the first is, "Ma'am, these phones won't be giving you any trouble again!" LOL

So glad you are back! It seems so many of the bloggers I read have taken breaks this week; there wasn't much to do online. I had to actually get some housework done in the spare time!
BTW I just read MIRACLE IN THE ANDES and loved it! Thanks for the recommendation!

Wow, we have trouble coming up with just two phones, but six, my goodness. Glad you had such a fine bounty hunter to collect them.
