Made for each other

Remember how surprised I was on Valentine's Day when Josh brought me a beautiful bouquet of roses?

Well I was just as surprised on his birthday when the florist arrived with a lovely arrangement and this note from his new bride, Hattie:

Thank you!

I wanted to send you all a token of my appreciation for Josh's birthday!

Thank you so much for raising such a caring and wonderful son. I appreciate your efforts.

Thank you!
Hattie

There is that connection people seldom acknowledge - that your children turned out well because you had a vision and worked hard to see it through.

These words meant a lot to me.

Barbara- What an awesome gift from your new DIL! You are sooooooo blessed to have her. As a mom of three boys, your post really encouraged me. My mom prayed for my future husband, and guess what? He's the BEST.I love him more everyday, and my family loves him too. God is awesome. Keep serving up the encouragement, Barbara. Thanks for sharing.

Aww that is so sweet! I should do something sweet for my MIL for raising such a wonderful man who became my husband.

what a wonderful thing to do. I love hearing what wives do to appreciate their husbands. She sounds like a wonderful wife and a great daughter in law.

Wow! That is wonderful!
Sounds like you not only have a wonderful son but also a daughter-in-love!
It is so nice to be appreciated and that our children and their spouses recognize the hard work of parenting and its rewards?
Have a blessed day!

I did that for my MIL when DH and I were engaged. She enjoyed it so much. Now that I'm the mother of a son, I can more fully appreciate it.
