Christmas shopping/Supporting this site

Julie, who blogs at Imajackson wrote:

Hi Barbara,

This is Julie Jackson again. I am an avid reader and I recently sent you an e-mail about my thoughts on weight loss and you posted it to your site. I was so pleased to think my thoughts could help another mom out there!

I am also pleased to tell you that I just bought every single Christmas present through Amazon.com. I made sure I went through your site to Amazon each time I added something to my shopping cart to insure you get the credit from Amazon. Is there anyway to check that you get the credit? It's important to me since I want to support your site through my shopping. Your
wit and wisdom has really pulled me along in the last few months and I get many good mommy ideas from you every week.

Thanks Barbara!

But there are more benefits than supporting this site. Here's what Julie wrote at her own blog:

I am DONE Christmas shopping! Seriously! I finished it all on Amazon.com last night. Two orders total and we're calling it complete. I even bought stocking stuffers at Amazon as well. Everything done! I am very happy to think I will not have to fight traffic for days on end as I try to cross town to get yet another present, or look at another store. None of that for me! I am done! Wooohooooo!

I agree - and have been shopping online for years now. It saves TIME and MONEY - especially because I just buy what I set out to buy and am not distracted by impulse stuff. You know how you go in to Target for three things and come out with thirty? I think we need something, but then later I wonder how much we needed it if I didn't know when I went in the store.

Anyway, thanks Julie - and thanks to all of you who support this site in this simple way.

Love,
