    The Little Red Hen
Hooray for a good work ethic! The little red hen asks but receives no help in her efforts to put bread on the table. Yet all who wouldn't help would like to eat. In a refreshingly old-fashioned triumph of moral consequences, they don't get to!
  • Noisy Nora
    Noisy Nora
Poor Nora! The loveable mousette experiences all the pangs of the child-in-the- middle, caught between the demands of baby brother and bossiness of big sister. Catchy meter, playful illustrations make for a wonderfully satisfying mouse's tale. Baby-Preschool

Since they lost all their furniture in a fire, they've been saving mother’s tips in a jar – so they can buy a big comfortable chair for their whole family to enjoy – daughter, mother and grandmother. Life has its ups and downs, but there’s always lots of love. Ages 4-7

Down syndrome - the gift that keeps on giving

Quietly simmering on one of the many backburners has been the task of finishing the makeover of my website barbaracurtis.com.

There is still more to do - like the major task of linking over a hundred articles that are scattered about the Internet. One of those things that will happen some day when I have nothing better to do. Laughing all the way....

But, thanks to my BlogGuru, my photo album is constructed and ready for me to put photos in. For now, there's not a whole lot except one for Jonny - which I was looking forward to more than any of the others.

Those of you who've been around a while have seen through scattered pictures here and there the many wonderful sides of my son Jonny, proud possessor of an extra chromosome (Trisomy 21), friend to every living thing, and general bon vivant.

Now, for your viewing pleasure, I have gathered a dozen or so here.

Enjoy!

Love,
