Thanksgiving apron

Last year, I googled around for a Thanksgiving apron and came up with this one, which I ordered. It's made of stretchy courdoroy and looked great for the special day, when I probably had it on all day long:

But I also came up with the most wonderful apron I'd ever seen - straight out of I Love Lucy:

(Click on the pictures if you are interested in more details.)

I asked Tripp if it could be my Christmas present and have been wearing it ever since. It will never wear out and will always look terrific because it is made of oilcloth - isn't that sensible? It's the only apron I ever wear now - except for the Thanksgiving one I'll be wearing in two weeks.

Hint early and maybe your hubby will get one for you!

Love,
