Apron Contest links
From Elizabeth, who blogs at The Leone Family:
Have you seen these aprons? I love them!!! Bella Pamella
From another reader:
Hi, Barbara! My name is Beth Byler. My husband Dean and I are the blessed parents of 8 awesome children (4 bio and 4 adopted). I have been reading your blog for quite some time now and really enjoy it! A friend of mine sent me the link below about a family raising money for adoption through making and selling aprons! I thought of you and your aprons when I read this! Maybe you could put something on your website about it and help this family reach their goal. Have a blessed Christmas! In Christ, BethAprons for Adoption My oldest daughter Cacey and her husband Aaron are trying to adopt a baby from South Korea (This will be grandbaby #4 for me!). The cost to adopt is very high ($20,000-$30,000), so we came up with the idea to sell homemade aprons and put all the proceeds into their adoption fund. We would appreciate your prayers as adoption is not only expensive but also a long process with many up's and down's. It will definitely be a test of patience for our whole family.**************************************
Well, the Aprons for Adoption “campaign†has literally taken over our dining room table as all of us girls including “Nanna†(Jennifer), are sewing that new baby into our hearts! We have had so many orders, that we are all helping Cacey sew aprons. We are so touched that so many of you have supported the adoption efforts by purchasing aprons and we truly “Thank You!†The aprons really are beautiful and make wonderful Christmas gifts for mothers, grandmothers and daughters! Thanks again!
