Grab-your-hankie Russian adoption story
Here's an antidote for Christmas commercialism (HT to Kristy from England who recently had her #3):
Grab a cup of coffee (or tea) and a box of kleenex - it takes about 15-20 minutes, but will remind you that God can do anything - especially when people are willing to listen and obey.
I especially like this exchange between Rick and his wife:
Rick: Why did I have this dream?
Stephanie: Because you will act on it.
Then there was Rick's demonstration of faith by hiring a sketch artist - and calling an adoption agency with a story that some might have thought delusional.
Let's pray this Christmas that God would increase our faith - as well as our ability and willingness to listen and obey!
