Apron Power! #18

This apron is small, but it is special to me because it was my grandmother's. The elf in the pocket is just like one we had when I was growing up. I couldn't resist when I saw it at a garage sale! I'm a homeschool mom of 5 - 3 boys, a girl, then another boy - the same family I grew up in, even the order! My daughter is 7 and wants to learn to sew. I bought mother/daughter apron patterns for our first project. It's been years since I've sewn, so wish us well!
I am excited about how this little contest is inspiring new ways of looking at our womanly history and our work! I haven't sewn for at least 20 years myself - maybe it's time to see if I still know how. . . .
