Puppy Dog Blues - Part 2
Six weeks ago, in a post called Puppy Dog Blues , I shared Vida's dilemma after giving in to her young son's pleas for a puppy and his lack of consistent follow-through in caring for him. I gave her permission to admit she made a mistake and find a better home for the dog. You all gave her plenty of advice too.
Someone wrote last week asking what ever came of the situation. For anyone else who's wondered, take a look at this picture Vida sent me:
Barbara, I just wanted to drop you a line to say hi! We are all doing pretty well here. The puppy drama continues, but is no longer unbearable. I have included a picture of Zoe, who is pretty much my puppy now. Good thing I've fallen in love with her!Zoe is so cute! And I'm bustin' my buttons, because she learned her first command this week! She will now sit. Yay!
