Gifts - copy of Down syndrome book needed
[Note: the book Kathy's looking for is Gifts: How Children with Down Syndrome Have Enriched Our Lives. It came out briefly but the copies were flawed and it will be reissued in July. There are some first copies floating around, though and Kathy is trying to find one. Sorry for the confusion when I first posted this]
I have children in Asia who desperately want this book. We are visiting them next weekend and I have not been able to find it anywhere. Our Ezekiel was born with Down's in May 2005. Is there anything that you could do to help us locate the book, either new or used? Thank you so much. Kathy
I notice Amazon has only one copy of this book for 99.99. Note to seller: Way to exploit families of kids with Down syndrome!
Do any of my readers have an extra copy of this book they can sell to Kathy? Please let me know.

I think there is a new edition coming out shortly.
I will email the author and see if she has a time frame or knows where we can get one.
If it is a different book, let me know, I have a ton of books here, maybe we will get lucky and it is one I have.

"No copies of the first edition are available. The new edition should be out
in late April or early May. It can be preordered through
www.woodbinehouse.com ."
I do not have one, but if I find a copy I will let you know.
