    The Little Red Hen
Hooray for a good work ethic! The little red hen asks but receives no help in her efforts to put bread on the table. Yet all who wouldn't help would like to eat. In a refreshingly old-fashioned triumph of moral consequences, they don't get to!

    Noisy Nora
Poor Nora! The loveable mousette experiences all the pangs of the child-in-the- middle, caught between the demands of baby brother and bossiness of big sister. Catchy meter, playful illustrations make for a wonderfully satisfying mouse's tale. Baby-Preschool

Twins with Down syndrome - parents finding joy

Great story on a couple whose first children were twins who have Down syndrome - Dad is pro hockey player Beau Geisler, one of 11 kids himself, and obviously a loving and proud father:

Thunder player finds joy in family struggles

Thanks to my friend Laura of Adventures in Juggling for sending me this!

That was such an uplifting and encouraging story...unlike most you read today. Those two boys are beautiful, just like their mom said.

Thanks for sharing.

Wow, those boys are really cute! I mean, seriously cuter-than-average kids!

It's easier said than done! Most parents can't accept the fact that their child has DS. Unlike this couple, they have learned the law of acceptance and embrace what's given by God without questioning! It's a good lesson for other parents with DS child.
