People write emails like that on the web to make it more difficult for spammers' robots to harvest the addresses while surfing the web. If we wrote them the "real" way, the bots would grab it and suddenly that email address would be swamped with all kinds of unwanted offers for cheap software and anatomical enhancement solutions.

I am so excited to read these books! I need to go re-adjust the budget so I can get them right away!
As far as why you write your email out like that, it's so you don't get spammed by bots. They roam the internet looking for email addresses and if you write it the normal way, they'll find it and send you all kinds of unwanted messages.

Wish I could take advantage of the 2-for-1 deal but I guess I'll have to wait until PaperBackSwap.com or the library has it. Maybe I can Ebay some more stuff and pick it up with my accrued PayPal amount! Congrats on the upcoming arrival of books. How wonderful it must be to see it finished right in front of you!

Shannon - I guess they can buy it from me - unless for some reason they have to buy from the publisher..
Beth - there's an idea for you - make sure your library buys copies. You might have to wait a long time on PaperbackSwap. I don't think any of my other books are there right now.

Hi, Barbara. I just ordered both your books through Paypal. I'm so excited to get them. I have to make the decision this summer about whether we will send Kyra to kindergarten next year, or whether I would be brave enough to homeschool her (while going to school myself, as well as having a husband who is going to seminary full time while working full time). You, your blog, and your books mean so much to me. I don't always comment, but I come by and read every day. This is kind of personal for a comment, but, these days, it takes me weeks to remember to send an email...I want you to know that some things you have written have helped me make huge strides in really forgiving my mother and letting go of the bitterness I had over the way things were when I was a kid. I can't say that I don't still get upset...often...with her, since I still have brothers living at home, but I have largely let go of the pain and bitterness that I harbored for so long. So, thank you for your part in that.

I would love to get both books, but I live in Guatemala. Is it possible to order them from you still, or do I wait until Amazon has them? Also, I don´t have a credit card down here and would like to know if it´s possible to send an E-check, since you obviously wouldn´t have to send the books until it cleared. :D Thanks!
