KS Milkmaid update
As I mentioned before, for legal reasons KS Milkmaid's blog must remain down. Christina will stay in touch with me and we have a system so that I know what is okay for me to share here. It is extremely limited.
Brian is out on bond. The preliminary hearing is June 19th at 2:00 p.m. central time. Please pray for a hedge of protection around Christina and her children. As the hearing approaches more specific prayers may be necessary.
It is hard to be so far away from someone you want so much to help. I would love to be there just to do Christina's laundry for her.
I do have a list of needs from local people who are mobilizing to help in hands-on ways. This bottom part of the list has things that can come from far away:
The family needs pantry items or non perishable food items. If you feel lead to cook a meal and freeze it, that would be helpful. They could also use cleaning supplies like windex, comet, paper towels etc. Chris uses a trac phone so if you feel lead you can purchase extra minutes for her. The family shops at Wal-mart supercenter for groceries. One can purchase a gift card to defray expenses in this area. You can make a donation to this family outright if you feel so led.The clothing needs for this family are as follows:
Charity (girl) could use church dresses, casual summer wear for out in the public. Underwear and socks Size 3 T(Boys)Twins- 4 Regular. Need jeans and nicer clothes for church, shorts or summer wear... underwear and socks. Could use shorts and short sleeve shirts
(Boy) Zach-Jeans and slacks 10 husky, underwear and socks. shorts
(Girl) Moriah- size five, shorts, dresses, underwear, socks, short sleeve shirts.
( Boy)Drew; jeans and slacks 32 by 34, socks and underwear
Chris: casual shirts, jeans, slacks, underwear, bras and causual dresses. Size 10/12 dress and jeans.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you would like to help this family.
If you can meet any of these needs, please email me and I will provide you with the email addresses for local contacts who are coordinating help.
I found the cow at Mamabeck's A Modest Home. She is using it to remind us all to pray for Christina. You can add it to your sidebar or print it and hang it on your computer or washing machine or both.

I rarely comment but I would like to send a Wal-Mart gift card (to be used with groceries or clothing) please let me know how I can go about doing this.

Hi again! I am so thankful you and Christina got to talk. I spoke to her last week and I was to basically get the above message to you immediately.....between kids/husband and a 1 year old that kept on pushing the "off" button on my tower, I couldn't get ANYTHING done!!!!!!!! Ugh!! I am so sorry for being a slow poke. I am however, very happy that there is a "system" in place. If you would like to link to my blog you can for updates and etc or just to send people my way. I live about 1-2 hours from her and can do some logistical support if need be for us here in North Eastern Kansas. I am a good friend of C. Paine and she can (I think she would) vouch for me. :-)
