Loudoun Youth Symphony Orchestra - free concert tonight!
This is so last-minute, but I am running to catch up with all my kids these summer days. Keep promising myself that someday I'll get back to being a prolific blogger :)
Tonight at 8 at Heritage High in Leesburg, the Loudoun Youth Symphony is giving a FREE concert.
After hearing them play at the Orchestra Petting Zoo they were kind enough to hold for those fortunate people who showed up, I cannot recommend this event highly enough. These kids sounded GREAT!! I'm not kidding.
It's not often you get a chance to take your children to a symphony concert - and this one's free.
If you come, look for me - I'll be there!

Barbara,
A major big thank-you for giving this orchestra a plug! Rachel has been in it for four years (the conductor has been her instructor for seven) and I wish more people would come out and enjoy! It's great music performed by kids who sound like professionals and it is FREE. I saw you singing the Sleeping Beauty piece-- I have to learn the words.See you tonight!

I forgot that I had a gig last night so we missed the "petting zoo". Will TRY to go to this. I have a cranky 5 year old who might not tolerate it well.
