Poor Nora! The loveable mousette experiences all the pangs of the child-in-the- middle, caught between the demands of baby brother and bossiness of big sister. Catchy meter, playful illustrations make for a wonderfully satisfying mouse's tale. Baby-Preschool

Hattie and Josh Update

Thanks to everyone for your prayers - which I can say with confidence made all the difference in the world.

The doctors have assured Josh and Hattie that the tumor, though large and aggressive, was absolutely benign. It had probably been growing since Hattie was a young teenager. The surgeon had to put a steel rod in her back to support the spinal cord, so she will not be able to go through metal detectors and will carry a special card :)

It was a long surgery - seven hours. And a huge incision - 12 inches. But Hattie is sitting up and receiving visitors and has been walking around.

So far everything looks very good!!

Love,

"Benign" is one of the most beautiful words in the English language when it is spoken about a potential threat to our loved one.

Rejoicing with you,

Elizabeth
