In case anyone still had any doubts about the credibility of the Washington Post
I ran this at The Miz Report this morning - but decided I wanted everyone to read it. Are y'all remembering to check there once in a while? I know it's been slow, but life's been hurrying by at the speed of - well, at the speed of life.
If you live anywhere outside the Beltway and don't have the Washington Post as your daily local paper, you can give a prayer of thanks this morning - and every morning.I remember when I was growing up in Washington DC how proud I was that the Post was "our" paper. After all, it is one of "the" papers of record - whatever that means (or used to mean).
Now it means the WaPo is free to be as blatantly leftist - and sometimes just plain stupid - as it llikes.
Just witness this article in today's paper by Maureen Dowd-wannabe Monica Hesse:
Fred, Fred, Fred: Thompson's Challenge Has a Name.
What absolute drivel! To think someone gets paid to write this. And the editor makes hundreds of thousands yearly to publish it.
And to top it off - written by a girl named Monica!
