Another reason to join Netflix

From the person who got the fourth free one-month Netflix trial I offered yesterday:

Thank you! We went to Blockbuster last week to get Miss Potter (exclusive outlet) and I was appalled, and sad, and angry at the violence and filth populating our rental store. I am very glad not to walk through there again.

Although I don't have any free coupons left, my Netflix link on the left offers a free two-week trial. You don't have to spend a lot. Our family is on the lowest-priced plan right now. We started out with three-at-a-time, but found that we have so many other demands on our time that we ended up not saving money that way. And the main point is saving money - although convenience and wide scope of movies rank right up there too.

Not to mention not having to trek through the degradation of our local video stores. I personally never took my kids into video stores but left them in the car while I dashed in to pick up movies I'd called ahead to have on hold. I thought they were safer alone in the car than seeing the blood, guts, and gore - and mayhem done to women - on the video covers proudly on display as though this was just the most normal thing in the world.

Go Netflix!!

Love,

Thanks again for the free Netflix link, Barbara. I have an entire queue of fascinating, obscure choices which I doubt we'd ever see otherwise. (Dogs, John Cleese 2-disc set on FACES OF PEOPLE if you can imagine :), many of the PBS period 'House' documentaries that our library doesn't own...)

A heart recommendation for you: USHPIZIN. It is an Israeli-made story that you just must see!
