Beth Moore Bible studies
A reader asked me where to find the Beth Moore series a group of women from our church recently did - Breaking Free.
Searching for them, I realized that though the books are easy to find, the Bible Studies they are a little out of the way, so for anyone considering Bible Studies for women, here is the Beth Moore's link:
If your church already does women's Bible studies, I want to highly recommend Beth Moore. She is absolutely amazing, authentic and comfortable. Your life will be changed - especially if you do the Breaking Free series.
If your church currently does not do a women's Bible study, you can start one yourself. It doesn't have to be a big group. In fact, our Breaking Free group was only about 8 or 9 women (hard to say as usually someone was out with a sick child.
You can also check Ebay for the used DVD series - I urge you to use the DVDs as wel as the workbooks.
Let us know if you do and how you like them!

I wanted to suggest that you may be able to find the used DVDs and books on Amazon as well.
I hope you don't mind, but I've tagged you for Priscilla Palmer's Personal Development List.

I was introduced to the Beth Moore bible studies 4 years ago when we moved and joined our current church. They did the Breaking Free study 5 or 6 years ago but have decided to do it again this year b/c so many women(like myself) have requested it. I can't wait! We have also done the Patriarchs study, the Tabernacle study, and her study on Daniel. I have immensely enjoyed these bible studies as I have learned so much. She has made studying God's Word exciting! I also wanted to concur with you that the DVDs are a must.

Thank you so much for that link! A couple of years ago I did To Live Is Christ, and I LOVED it! I wanted to do another, but couldn't find them. I did read her book Believing God, which was great, but it wasn't the same as doing a study. I really love the idea of taking one person from the Bible and studying them in depth, so I am going to check out A Heart Like His, Jesus the One and Only, Beloved Disciple, and Daniel. :)

Beth Moore's Bible studies are excellent! I have completed most of them. My favorites are: A Woman's Heart: God's Dwelling Place, Daniel, and Breaking Free-I led several groups through this study and it challenged me each time-I highly recommend it!
