Gay propaganda in public schools - need input from parents
I am working on an article about the impact of gay marriage on public schools in Massachusetts.
I am particularly looking for parents whose children have been exposed to picture books like King & King or One Dad, Two Dads, Brown Dad, Blue Dads.
The scary thing is that if you live in California or New England your child may have had these books read to them and you might never know. Listen to this comment left for One Dad etc by a Vermont man:
This is my most-recommended book for LGBT families, or for those introducing the topic to preschool children. The story is funny and fun, the illustrations are classic, and the tone is natural. My son loves this book, and when we shared it with his pre-K class, the teacher immediately bought a copy for their library. If you are a gay parent of a young child, I urge you to add this to your family's collection.
Please let me know if this kind of thing is occurring in your public schools. And do check out the links - you parents of young children need to know what's down the road.
[Note to gay activists who want to "educate" me: I have spent years as a radical leftist and in sexual experimentation. I could write your books and movie scripts myself, so save your patronizing efforts, please. While children need to be taught compassion and grace and kindness, they need healthy role models, and the healthiest role model is a family with a mother and father dedicated to raising their children well.]

thank you for speaking about this, as a parent, this is such a HUGE concern to me. My kids go to Catholic school from k-6th (that is as far as our parish has it) then the only choice is public school or home school. Home school is simply not an option for us, so we are dealing with the public school and trying to stay on top of this situation and hoping that this won't be an issue, in my opinion, schools must let parents know they will have these books in the school, etc.
It is not fair that we can't have prayer in public schools or speak about our religious convictions but the homosexual agenda is allowed to be pushed? How much sense does that make?
I am always watching, always aware and try to be very involved in my children's schools, if it comes to it, we will pull them out and home school, we'll figure it out if we have to, but we won't allow this homosexual agenda to be pushed down our kid's throats.
Thanks for a great post!

Hi Barbara,
I'm in Massachusetts and have 4 of my 6 children in public school and we have never run into these books. It seems to very much depend on the town you live in, some are much more liberal than others. As a matter of fact, Santa still visits our elementary school(shhhhh!).
