Thanksgiving picture books

I have several books about Thanksgiving listed under Barbara's Picks - Holidays.

But someone asked me some time ago about books for younger readers. With just a week 'til Thanksgiving, I know this is a little late, but here are a few I've come up with that emphasize giving thanks and family. Click on the book image or title to go to Amazon to read more details about each. I pay most attention to the customer reviews when picking books - sometimes what someone doesn't like about a book lets you know it is just what you are looking for - and vice versa.

None of these books refer to the history of Thanksgiving (which is covered in the books already listed at Barbara's Picks), but they introduce the concept of giving thanks and reinforce family bonds.

Thanksgiving is Here - this one looks fun to read and the illustrations look very good. I ordered a used copy for less than a dollar.

The library story hour yesterday included Thanksgiving is Here and I thought it was good.

My family loves the book, Off to Plymouth Rock. Your readers might enjoy that one, two.
