Teddy Bear Tea yesterday at the Ritz Carlton
One last thing I want to share before I get started on my laundry/packing/writing deadline today:
We were so blessed yesterday to attend a Teddy Bear Tea held at the Ritz Carlton in Pentagon City for families of adopted children. This was a wonderful experience in fine dining - check out the pictures, and imagine my children's surprise when the waiters unfurled their napkins and placed them in their laps! - which we never could have afforded for our children ourselves. We are so grateful to the sponsors of this event for a truly delightful time and wonderful memory.
This was a life-sized gingerbread house at the Ritz Carlton. For some idea of the proportion, you need to know that the doorway is about 7 1/2 feet high and those bears are life size.
Imagine the delicious aroma as you approach from the hotel lobby!
Thanks again to the Ritz Carlton - on behalf of all my kids - for this wonderful event!

OH my gosh how fun. What a blessing, and your family all looks so nice. I love how your boys all match. I tend to dress my 3 youngest to match for special occasions. The older ones tend to fuss about it sometimes, LOL. I am so glad you all had a good time and wow I thought my gingerbread house from last year was big!!!! That is so awesome thanks for sharing the pics.

That is such a great gift to give to families who have adopted children! I can only imagine how incredible the gingerbread house. The staff at the Ritz always make every person there feel like royalty from the youngest children to the oldest adult.
