Happy New Year!
I asked Ben and his girlfriend Anna to make me a greeting for my readers.
Here it is - reading left to right: me, Tripp Ben, Anna (in the e), Maddy, Zach, Sophia, Jesse, Jonny, Justin, Daniel.
How was your New Year's Eve? Tripp had to work until 8. Ben went out with Anna. Sophia went out to a friend's party. Maddy went to Jack's for dinner and then went bowling with friends - but the bowling alley was closed, so they came back here.
I watched Shrek with Zach and the Downzers, then curled up with a book at around 9. Fell asleep almost instantly and almost slept through midnight except Tripp did some fireworks, which woke me up. For some reason, I just couldn't get up. I felt like Wile E. Coyote when he's been chasing Roadrunner and gets flattened by a truck or something - like my body was one-dimensional - no muscles or bones to pick me up.
I must be getting old!
On the other hand, I felt a lot better today than everyone else who stayed up late :)
Anyway, Happy New Year to you and yours from me and mine! Looking forward to what the New Year will bring.
