National Sex Offender Registry

In case you don't know this:

You can plug your zipcode into the National Sex Offender Registry and draw up all the convicted sex offenders in your area - complete with pictures, addresses, and convictions.

As a childhood victim myself, I am grateful that this information is out there so parents are better able to protect their children.

Love,

Thanks for the link. Having heard about several school age girls being followed home by a convicted sex offender in our neighborhood, and having the gentleman as a peeping tom, we have been following the registry here in our town closely. Wanted to pass on this link also: http://www.nsopr.gov/

If you're concerned about your children's safety, you might also "google" your city or county's name and "sex offender" for local listings. There were at least two offenders not listed via the link you gave that were available via the city's reporting within 5 blocks of my home.
