Love That Song! Ezekiel Saw de Wheel
I think I'm going to institute a random Love That Song department to cover these times when a song pops into my mind and I track it down on YouTube to pull out the best versions (in my opinion) for you.
Ezekiel Saw de Wheel music sheets should have a warning label: boring if sung by white people.
There weren't too many versions on YouTube, but here are my favorites:
Morgan State Choir:
and vintage 1983 - Soul Children of Chicago - amazing!
Lyrics:
Ezekiel saw that wheel
Way up in the middle of the air
Ezekiel saw that wheel whirling
Way up in the middle of the air
Now the little wheel runs by faith
And the big wheel runs by the grace of God
And a wheel in a wheel whirling
Way up in the middle of the air
Enjoy!

That was great! Thanks. I remember singing this in high school and forgot all about it until I saw this. What fun!

We used to sing this song in 3rd Grade music class - mid 70s...public school. Those were the days!
