Mom awaits lung transplant, infant in NICU, Dad tells the story
You know, I've always preferred non-fiction to fiction. Yes, I do like a good story - well-told - now and then and my second favorite book in the world is Victor Hugo's Les Miserables. Still, I am constantly amazed at true life and the stories of those who rise above circumstances to share their stories with us, helping us grow along the way.
I get lots of links suggested by readers but I sift through them because I know most of you - like me - have to budget your Internet time (because I write so much, I don't have much time to read blogs myself). But several readers have sent me to this real-life saga told by the husband of a woman with Cystic Fibrosis. Since he did a recap yesterday, now's a good time to send you there. Click on the image - I borrowed his header to pique your interest - to see what's up with the Lawrenson family and begin praying for them:

Oh, I'm crying over their story and praying for them right now! Barbara, I'm so glad to see a post from you this morning. I woke up at 4 a.m. and couldn't fall back to sleep. My mind was racing, and you popped into my mind a few times. I prayed for you right then!
