Book Sale - buy three, get one free
*sigh*
These books aren't doing anyone any good sitting on my shelf - or tucked away in boxes in closets. I really want you all to have them.
The problem is - and I never knew this before being published - authors have to buy their own books. I pay around half the retail (around 6.50 per book) plus shipping to get them to my house.
Then I wait for people to buy them. Then I pay paypal for handling the transaction.
Still, I really want them off my shelf and out of my closets and in the hands of people who want to read them. So here's the deal I've cooked up for March:
Buy three, get one free! - Any assortment of my books you want. Right now, I'm listing my books for 9.99 - you can see them all here. I also have a bunch of copies of A Full Quiver: Family Planning and the Lordship of Christ by Rick and Jan Hess which you can read more about at Amazon.
Shipping is a flat $3 in the US no matter how many books you buy.
To take advantage of this offer, order three books using the paypal cart, then email me and tell me which book you want free. Tell me who you would like your books autographed for and I will send them within 24 hours.
If you buy six, you get two free - nine, three free. And so on.
Why would you want to buy so many books? Well, you might get them for presents for baby showers. You might want to do a study group with a group of moms to talk about what you've read. Though they're not Bible studies, I know some groups of moms have done this with Lord, Please Meet Me in the Laundry Room and The Mommy Manual. I could see a group of moms who wanted to get into the Montessori at home approach with preschoolers might be encouraged by forming a small group to read, meet and discuss Mommy, Teach Me! and Mommy, Teach Me to Read!.
If you are wondering about the books, please look them up at amazon and read the reader reviews to see what other mothers have to say about them. Also, check these reviews of the Mommy, Teach Me! books from Homeschooling Today.
If you can't afford the books, I still want you to read them. Go to your local library and see if they are there (they're in mine). If not, ask them to order them for you - they'll probably go to the publisher for them, which is fine with me - as long as everyone who wants to read them has a chance :)
I plan to run this sale semi-annually now - the next will be in August.

Oh, hooray! I was JUST about to order a bunch of your books! I am so glad you're running this deal again. I have a number of baby showers coming up, and I have loved giving your books as gifts. I'll be placing an order soon.

Are you able to ship to Canada? Would you know how much it would cost to ship three books?

Felecia -
and anyone else out there from other countries: I can use a flat rate envelope for four books for 10.45 -
so it would be 40.45 for four books - 30. for the books and 10.45 shipping.
