Cranberry juice for Fat Flush diet

From a reader who's gone Fat Flush too (that's the diet which helped me lose 90 pounds):

Barbara,

You inspired me to investigate the Fat Flush Plan and I've been on it a few weeks. Ditched caffeine, sugar and at least till Lent is over, wine. You further inspired me by saying you turn your attention away from food in order to detach from it while dieting. . . .

Could you please ask your readers if any of them know where to get unsweetened cranberry juice for less than $8 per quart jar? Amazon has 3 for $22, but even that's steep since FF recommends 8 oz. a day.

Cranberry juice is essential for the Fat Flush Diet, which is based on cleaning all the toxins from your system so you get beyond your food cravings. I thought I'd found the cheapest source was the organic concentrate from Amazon, but I just did the math and yours is cheaper (anyone ordering needs to remember to specify Super Saver Shipping at checkout).

Does anyone know of a cheaper source?

Due to a recent UTI I purchased some cranberry concentrate at GNC. You only use 2 Tbsp. per serving (the small bottle only has 11 servings) and mix with some juice or seltzer water. I know nothing about the FF diet or the best kind of cranberry juice to drink. The cost at GNC was on sale for $7.50 plus 20% off with gold card. Of course, I'm not planning to use it regularly.

Wal-Mart carries the Ocean Spray Unsweetened Organic pure cran juice for $3.83 per bottle. Not quite as strong as the stuff the health food store, but DARN CLOSE....

After paying $8 a quart for it for many months, I finally checked at our Super Walmart and found an Ocean Spray 100% unsweetened cranberry juice for $3.99 a quart. It was in the regular juice aisle. You do have to be careful that it is 100% cranberry juice with nothing added.

HTH,

Sandy

I haven't heard of the diet but you got me curious. As for the juice, what about getting cranberries and making your own?

I think the author does recommend making it from cranberries as the most economical method.

I'm wondering whether you found the diet hard to stick to, and did you have a hard time breaking free from the sugar cravings?

If you have a Trader Joe's nearby, I found that store to have the best price for Unsweetened Cranberry Juice either concentrated or regular.
The FF diet is amazing not just for the way it gets us cleansed and free from a fixation on food, but that it helps us get healthier and lighter in the lbs! Ha.
I have been on it for six months and have only lost 22 lbs but I am increasing my walking and hoping that will kick start me into more lose.

Hello I just came upon your post doing a search on fat flush. I have tried it but have never been able to stick to it 100%. But I just want to comment that Ocean spray would not be "fat flush Legal". The only cranberry juice that is fat flush approved would be %100 cranberry meaning look on the ingedients list on the bottle and if anything other than cranberry is listed you have the wrong brand. I havent calculated oz's per cents but Trader Joes sells the cheapest to my knowledge $4.49.

Just my $.02.
