    The Little Red Hen
Hooray for a good work ethic! The little red hen asks but receives no help in her efforts to put bread on the table. Yet all who wouldn't help would like to eat. In a refreshingly old-fashioned triumph of moral consequences, they don't get to!

CF Husband's answer to prayers - new lungs for Tricia

CFHusband.jpg

I know some of you have been following the story of Tricia, the young woman whose cystic fibrosis/pregnancy crisis resulted in a teeny-tiny premature baby and months of hospitalization awaiting a lung transplant.

Answered prayers! Nathan wrote 90 minutes ago that they had just wheeled Tricia into the OR to give her a new pair of donated lungs!

This story has been a real-life drama resulting in over 2 million visits to the blog Nathan - who celebrates his 27th birthday today - has been keeping to build prayer support for his wife.

Let's pray for both of them and for the doctors who are even now working to give Tricia more years to enjoy her husband and her new baby.

Folks, if this story interests you and speaks to you of amazing Christian strength and faithfulnes, look at the piece that was done on this couple in the Raleigh News and Observer. On Nate's blog, I found it by clicking on "The Story of Us" in the sidebar and accessed the story from there.

I wept as I read the article and am much impressed by the family's steadfast hope in God. I can only imagine the extent to which God's glory is being fleshed out at this hospital each and every day.

To God be the glory!
