A mother looks different as children grow

One of those unattributed pieces of wisdom from the internet

The Images of Mother

4 years ~ My Mommy can do anything!

8 years ~ My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot!

12 years ~ My Mother doesn't really know quite everything.

14 years ~ Naturally, Mother doesn't know that, either

16 years ~ Mother? She's hopelessly old-fashioned.

18 years ~ That old woman? She's way out of date!

25 years ~ Well, she might know a little bit about it

35 years ~ Before we decide, let's get Mom's opinion.

45 years ~ Wonder what Mom would have thought about it?

65 years ~ Wish I could talk it over with Mom.

Love,

.

Barbara- you brought tears to my eyes today.......My mom lost her mom at the age of 26, and I know she still misses her to this day. Life is so short- I just lost a cousin who was in the prime of his life. It was so very very unexpected.......I think I've been treasuring ALL my family even more so since his passing......
Life is just so very very precious.....God keeps reminding me of that all the time.....With a new baby due soon, I feel so blessed to be a part of " life".

I'm so glad I'm at "My Mommy can do anything!" and "My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot!" right now! Although I can see how we go down the hill - they ask me questions constantly and I have no idea what the answer is to half of them. I say "let's go home and look that up" a lot, but I'm sure this is why they will eventually think I'm an idiot. A lovable idiot, but an idiot!
