    The Little Red Hen
Hooray for a good work ethic! The little red hen asks but receives no help in her efforts to put bread on the table. Yet all who wouldn't help would like to eat. In a refreshingly old-fashioned triumph of moral consequences, they don't get to!
  • Noisy Nora
    Noisy Nora
Poor Nora! The loveable mousette experiences all the pangs of the child-in-the- middle, caught between the demands of baby brother and bossiness of big sister. Catchy meter, playful illustrations make for a wonderfully satisfying mouse's tale. Baby-Preschool

Sophia told me there are several Facebook groups - one with nearly 1200 members. We had a group of Maddy's friends here this afternoon working on a Shakespeare scene for Honors English. When I walked in with the pile of mail and told them the story they were truly aghast that something like this could happen.

I think that for the younger generation, because they've grown up with more inclusion, something like this is incomprehensible. Please talk to your children about this and ask them what they think.

I totally agree that the younger generations that grew up with more inclusion find this story absolutely shocking. I am a 22 year old Occupational Therapy student who is considering a career with special needs children in a public school environment. My mother works a school for autistic children and the smiles on those kids faces are a blessing. I am praying for Alex's family and the guidence his teacher obviously needs to set this all right again.
