Dennis and Barbara Rainey - on losing a grandchild
Dennis and Barbara Rainey of Family Life Ministries are very dear to Tripp and me - along with Dr. Dobson, we consider them our spiritual godparents as it was through them 21 years ago that we came to understand Jesus as the Son of God rather than just another spiritual guru among those whose teachings we followed (For He Is Our Peace).
We have been fortunate to meet them and share our story with them - and we have kept in touch with them over the years.
The Raineys just received and lost a grandchild and - because Dennis is a communicator - have been generous in sharing the precious story of Molly with us. While I weep for the Raineys, I recognize God's blessing: that a path has been illuminated, that something someone out there will someday walk through will be a little easier to bear because the Rainey family has been there and found the beauty and the glory - and put it into words.
