Thank you for supporting this site

Thank you to whoever ordered their new stroller through the MommyLife link.

While I used to write for paying publications, I cut back purposely when I found I loved blogging more. But since a blog like this incurs expenses, I had to figure out a way that my hubby wouldn't have to foot the bill :)

Hence, the advertising in the sidebars.

But also an important support comes from the revenue generated when readers place orders at Amazon through the MommyLife link in the sidebar. Some readers have made it a habit to buy things they would be buying elsewhere at Amazon. I can heartily recommend Amazon because I've ordered stuff through them for years and years, saving gas and sometimes state taxes. Usually if you order over $25 and click on SuperSave Shipping at checkout you also get free shipping.

With gas over $4 a gallon now - ouch! I paid $124.14 to fill up our humble Ford Club Wagon yesterday :( - ordering by mail is something you might want to consider if you've never done it before. It also cuts down on impulse spending - I know I can't go in Target for a simple prescription refill without feeling like Christian in Pilgrim's Progress trying to make it through Vanity Fair. So many beautiful things! So many things pulling me away from the goal of eliminating frivolous spending!

But I digress. We're talking about saving money, time and energy - and frustrated children who usually would rather be running free than in a shopping cart - by buying online. I can recommend this in good conscience because it is something that will benefit your family.

And if you order through my site, you benefit MommyLife as well. Some of you order diapers, ovulation kits, preganancy tests in bulk :), strollers, china, gluten-free products - even furniture and appliances. Oh yeah, and books, music and DVDs.

For that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

For MommyLife to receive credit, just make sure you log in through my sidebar each time you order. You cannot use a bookmark as the login expires in a certain number of hours.

Again, thank you for enabling me to keep the main focus of my writing on this blog and not on paid pursuits. While I do articles now and then, what I write here is first in my heart.

Love,
