Down syndrome - the joy and beauty
The creation of Connie Wenk, whose photographs of children with Down syndrome capture something the geneticists urging abortion would never be able to tell prospective parents about. Please go see them now at her website! They are the most beautiful I've ever seen.
Connie Wenk also has a blog with more pictures - and fun for anyone who's studied German (two years for me - plus four years of Latin and three years of French - but really love German best).
Thanks to Jawan McGinnis.

Thanks, Barbara. I, too, think these pictures are the most beautiful ever taken.

That is so utterly heartwarming and uplifting. This video isn't for some 'minority interest group'. I want to share it with the world. As the song says I'm "not sure I understand" But there IS something special about those people that brings a little light and warmth. What is it?
Thank you again Barbara.
