#!/usr/bin/mom has #7!

I've written about mommy blogs being like backyard fences. There are so many moms I feel I know because of comments and emails we've shared over the years.
If you read the comments, you may feel like you know them too :)
Michelle Potter #!/usr/bin/mom (I still don't get the full significance of the name, but her computer-geekiness has helped me out several times when I've had questions about Mr. Linky or Technorati issues) has just had her seventh baby! Michelle is also a gifted photographer - and been blogging for over 8 years! - you must go see her pictures.
And I love the name she chose for her new son: Diarmuid. Did a quick search and found it means "without enemies." How cool is that?
Anyway, please take a minute to pray for Michelle as her last post said she was bleeding heavily and had to go to the ER. She's back home, but with seven little kids and a house to run, you know she'll be needing all the help she can get. The least - or maybe the most - we can do is pray.

Thank you, Barbara; I really appreciate your thoughts and prayers. I am really ok, though. My mother-in-law has been here helping, and she and my husband are *enforcing* my bedrest, LOL. :)
BTW, about the name, I figure you like to learn things, so... In the simplest terms, /usr/bin is a location, a folder, from which you can run programs on Unix. So if I were writing a computer program, and I wanted it to open and run a program called "mom" which is in the /usr/bin, I'd tell it to look in #!/usr/bin/mom. It's become a common thing that geeks use for titles or whatever. You can buy t-shirts that say #!/usr/bin/geek or #!/usr/bin/girl.
