Challenges for Jonny and a milestone for Josh
This is hubby standing in for our "queen of blog." She will be "in the field" for a couple of days; but I will update comments and posts as they come in until her return. As you know, Jonny had a surgical procedure to correct one of his "crooked" feet two weeks ago. He has been recuperating while we have been in this moving transition. In hindsight we see that we have allowed him to do too much. Last night Barbara noticed that his foot was looking swollen and infected. She immediately took pictures and fired them off to the doc on call,(thank God for technology!) She packed up Jonny and his three younger brothers this morning and I met them at the doc's office to watch the Boyz while she and Jonny saw the doc. Results are Jonny is hooked up with antibiotics in the hospital for a couple of days with Mom as advocate combating a pretty severe infection. The Boyz and I picked up Maddy at the airport and made it out to Samantha's (our eldest daughter) house for a surprise birthday(the big 25) for Josh, (our eldest son) arranged by his wonderful wife Hattie. They go into Georgetown tomorrow for more MRI and scans for Hattie. What an incredible God we have that can orchestrate celebrations of life in the midst of Life's challenges. Circumstances change....but God never changes...Lamentations 3:23-24
Love to all,
Tripp

Poor Johnny! I hope that he recovers quickly and can get back to the task of his post surgical healing.

Barbara, please don't feel bad about Jonny doing too much and developing a secondary infection after his surgery! We've been there also after one of our 14 surgeries.
Tripp, how awesome for you to step in during Barbara's absence!
Your family remains in our prayers!
