Obama campaign highlights Palin's 'zero' experience

This is hilarious, coming from a presidential candidate whose only experience is 140 days in the Senate - most of it spent running for Commander in Chief:

Obama campaign highlights Palin's 'zero' experience
Aug 29 01:11 PM US/Eastern

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's campaign on Friday blasted his Republican rival's choice of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as a running-mate, highlighting her "zero" foreign policy experience.

"Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency," Obama spokesman Bill Burton said in a statement.

After you pick yourself up off the floor, you can read rest here.

Earth to Obama campaign: she's the governor of a state.

And this belittling of a woman sure shows your true colors where women are concerned.

Hey Barbara, you don't need to publish this if you don't want to, but I wanted your take on something.

Already there is talk starting in Fundamentalist Christian circles about Palin, and how she should be home caring for her special needs child. He needs her more than the country needs her, etc.

It's not just in the VisionForum followers circles, either.

I would like your opinion and/or how to answer this objection?

Or better yet, in all of your free time, write up a post I can link to?

Thanks!

Not to mention that she has as much bigtime experience as Obama himself. At least SHE'S in the #2 slot... and would be learning from a man who knows what he's doing. Obama would be learning on the job. YIKES!

This is a good choice for McCain.

Oh tell me, how sick am I of hearing over and over and over again "This is just more of George Bush" (say that to yourself in a robotic voice and you too can work in the communications department of Obama's campaign.)

The Obama campaign is at a loss here...and it's showing.

I'm a little more concerned about any "lack of experience" in the #1 position than at #2! Funny how Obama, with far, far less experience in governing, is billed as change, fresh, untainted by Washington, a real guy, etc., while she is credited with "zero experience". Yech. Sometimes I abhor politics with all of its dizzying spin. And yet, as with a train wreck, it's hard to look away...

Her decision to choose life for her last child speaks volumes about her good character to me. Her status as a mother of many suggests wonderful things about her skills and perspective to me. I cringe to think of how these things will be framed by the left and used against her. How low will they dare to go to denigrate her motherhood and choices for those to whom that appeals while trying not to offend people like me?

Two quick observation.

First, the democrats say that this election is about understanding people in small town america. Yet their criticism of Palin is that she was the Mayor of a small town and this counts as 0 experience. So why do they disparage small town Americans as unqualified?

Second, it is interesting to watch as the media savages another women as it throws Palin under the bus as a VP candidate while it celebrates a man with equal or less experience as a qualified presidential candidate

I hope she fries Biden like a mooseburger at the debate, that will shut them up, or at least stop their gums flapping for a few moments before they start accusing her of being too uppity or b*tchy.
